I am a graduate. *sings preschool song... oh good times* Wednesday was graduation at the WaMu Theatre at Qwest Field. We waited outside for what seemed like an eternity, and finally got to go stand in a line waiting to walk in. My walking partner was Amy George (Jeanne.. you might remember her from the preschool, or Katie might remember bb Amy) and we had a blast... We sat through Raj's speech and complained about how badly he plagerized from the speeches given at Baccalaureate (sp?) the night before.
I don't want to go into all the boring details about graduation, but it happened. I won the Department Award for Family & Consumer Sciences (thank you Child Psych & Special Ed for being in the same department!!!) and got to go up on the stand to receive that. Then I got to go walk across the stage, have Mr. Anderson call my name, and Ms. Allender hand me my diploma cover. I haven't gone up to the school yet to receive my actual diploma, but I plan on doing that on my lunch break sometime this week.
After Graduation, Paul, Shelly, Jen, Sarah & Jenna came to the house with Mom, Dad, and I and we ate CHEESECAKE! It was tasty, and I loved it very much. Everybody left, and then I went to bed.
I started my FULLTIME job at Napa the next morning, where I received about an hour and a half of training for delivery driver, and then I was sent out on my own. Yep, I'm a driver for Napa. It's pretty killer! I've met some cool guys at the shops, and I'm loving the extended hours. It's crazy to think that I'm in "The REAL world" now, working fulltime and then coming home to my laundry and room that need to be taken care of.
On a DIFFERENT note! From Cumorah's Hill is not this weekend, but the next weekend, and I am STOKED! I get to perform Saturday afternoon, it should be awesome. In the meantime, I will just be working! I quit my Saturday job so that I can take on some Saturday's at Napa, and I needed a break. Megan comes home in 6 days. Jenna and I are visiting teaching companions and we visit Kelli Zippro & Megan (once she gets home from school). We decided we're going to do "visiting teaching" once a week (aka, we have an official excuse to hang out with Kel & Meg, and the sudden need to bake cookies!) I LOVE VISITING TEACHING! oh man alive! OH! And, I went to Relief Society for the first time today, no more YW for Marci!

hey...
So I've realized how unclever the titles are for my blog. It makes me happy, in a weird kind of twisted way... I'm sitting here at my desk at work, contemplating what I'll do with my Saturday's in a few weeks. Next Saturday is my last Saturday working for The Door Works, and then I'm outta here! I'll be fulltime at Napa starting Thursday, and need to be available to work on Saturday's. I'm stoked.
Megan comes home from BYU in 2 weeks exactly, and I can't WAIT to see her! From Cumorah's Hill is in 3 weeks, and then I don't know what I'll do anymore. I'll work, hang out with people, and get ready to go to BYU. I'm so flipping excited, you have NO IDEA! This summer is going to be amazing, as I learn where all the car shops are around here, as I do some exploring of cool hangout spots, and as I hit up Champion the horse at Crossroads Mall. It should be pretty eventful. And come the end of August, I don't have to say goodbye to my friends who are leaving for BYU, I get to say goodbye to those who AREN'T leaving... it should be a splendid time!
School is basically done, only my vocab test and the Moving Up Assembly which are on Monday, then Tuesday I'm going to the ZOO with the Transition Room. Wednesday morning is Graduation Rehersal, then that night is GRADUATION! I can't wait to be all graduated, although I'll admit... I cried as I left band for the last time. It was heart breaking to play Pep Band with those kids for the last time, to see the "Spirit Trumpet" passed down from Senior to Junior, and to play the flute soli in You Can Call Me Al for the last time... I never copied my pep band music like I wanted to, so we'll see if I can remember it enough to write it down.
AHHHHHHHH! I can't wait!

hmm, i'm pretty much done!
Well... although I still have 5 days of school left, I am basically done! Today I turned in an essay, gave two presentations, and tonight I finished writing another essay. I wrote a poem for Creative Writing, and now the only thing I have left in school is a vocabulary test (20 words) which is the third portion of my Pre-College Writing final.
I can't wait at all! School is almost done, ahhhh!!!!! Soooo many exciting things come with the end of the year, along with a bunch of really stressful days!
This past weekend was our annual BAND TRIP! We went to Idaho (I know I can't spell Couer de'alene right... so we'll stick with IDAHO!) We took three bands (really, it was all 4, but we combined sophs and juniors) and each band brought back one trophy. The sophs/juniors also brought back the "overall best concert band" and a soloist from the jazz band was awarded second place (i think) for best soloist. It was AMAZING! As head hauncho of the bands, I got to go up and accept all of our trophies and carry them around. It made me feel so special!
A lot of way cool things happened on the band trip, but I don't really feel like blogging about the whole trip... a bunch of things were "you had to be there" kinda things for you to think they're cool or funny, or you atleast need to know the kids involved.
I graduated from Seminary on Sunday, so now I enjoy a few days where I can sleep in! It is really strange to go to school without my four amigos (jess, rach, gary and william), the three juniors and freshman that I used to drive to school from seminary. The dance parties just aren't the same, and neither is the conversation. It's really not that fun to carry on a conversation by myself in the car.
Well.. I needa go to bed, it's WAY late. I just finished my essay for PCW and turned it in to turnitin.com so now I'm even closer to being done with school!
GO ME!
