Long story short. Chris and I got married two weeks ago, and quickly began our fun adventure down to San Antonio. With stops from Redmond in Couer d'Alene, Mapleton, St. George, and Roswell we finally made it down to San Antonio on Friday, August 6th. Saturday morning we went into the office at our new complex, signed all the papers that needed to be signed, got our keys, and came to inspect our unit. We love it! After a week living here it finally feels like we're all moved in. Most of our things are unpacked and our boxes are gone.
I don't have pictures because I don't remember where we packed our camera, but when I do find it I'll throw some pictures up here. I also don't have pictures from the wedding/reception because we didn't have our camera out for that and nobody else has sent me any of their pictures... I'll work on that too. We don't have couches yet (we're waiting for them to be delivered) but we're surviving sitting on the floor to watch tv/movies.
I am absolutely LOVING not sharing a kitchen with other people. Sure, I share it with Chris, but we share food and aren't cooking three different dishes every meal. Having our own fridge is fantastic, it is so nice opening the fridge/freezer and knowing that all of the food is ours. None of the food randomly disappears because someone else thinks it is theirs. It's also nice that there aren't 3 sets of everything... not 3 sets of dishes, silverware, etc. That was definitely a pain back in Provo... so much silverware that if it was all clean it didn't fit in the only drawer we had in the kitchen.
I can't think of anything else... but we made it here safely, finally have internet again, and are enjoying life!
