Well friends, it SNOWED! I love snow so much, we haven't had school for two days now! I was really excited that there isn't school today, I was supposed to go to remidiation (basically a 1.5 hour detention) because they claim I turned part of my senior project in late. Well, I was going to have a hard time getting out of that, but amazingly... NO SCHOOL!
I went out and made a snow angel on Monday night (when it really started snowing). And yesterday I went out and threw snow up in the air so I could look really cool. It's hard to have a snowball fight by yourself, trust me! I ended up throwing snow balls at a tree, my car, and the window that mom was standing by. AMAZING!
I finally finished my BYU essay on Saturday... now I just wait! Well everyone, there is still snow, so I'm off. THis is too fun!

Happy Day After Thanksgiving!
Well, it's the day after Thanksgiving, and here I am, sitting behind my desk once more. Today has been a great day, and I've only been here for 40 minutes. There were no messages, but as soon as I turned the phones over someone called, wanting 6 springs changed... thats insane! A few minutes later another guy called wanting 2 springs changed, and he wanted the better spring! This means our technicians are pretty much booked today now, besides Laren, who isn't coming in until 11:00, poo on him! I even had to send Rod out of the office, OH MAN! I've gotten a bunch of wrong numbers, and I even got to talk to a woman in Georgia who wants to move away from Georgia, I'm still not too sure about how she got our number or why she was calling, but she talked to me for about 5 minutes about how great it must be that there is snow up here. I regretfully informed her that we don't have snow right now, and then she was sad for me. It was a thrilling experience. Oh how I love this job! WOOWOO!!!! It'll be a party once Katie gets here in 15 minutes, we're gonna have a superb party, especially if Rod is still out of the office, we can DANCE! or maybe we'll just sit behind our desks and talk like Katie and I always do when we work together. Oh man, I love Katie, she's probably my new favorite person! I'm so excited to work with her today...
On a completely different note... I ate a TON last night for dinner, and a few really good pieces of pie, oh man! I love thanksgiving! I also snuck upstairs for a while with Mara and watched Secondhand Lions, such a good movie! After dinner when we went up to finish it, Aubrey came up and joined us, it was so much fun! The three of us just upstairs sitting on my bed watching a movie, which reminds me... I need to return the DVD player that I borrowed from P&J... hmmmm, I should get on that one!

Hot Cocoa, FHE, and more!
Today has been a grrrreat day! After work I was laying on the couch watching The Da Vinci Code, kind of with dad... but he was asleep. Mom was teaching Paige piano lessons, and then the doorbell rang... it was TYLER! He asked if I wanted some hot cocoa, and said that he had been in the mood to make hot chocolate. When I said SURE! he ran out to his car and brought in boiling water, hot cocoa mix and cups and came into the kitchen to make hot cocoa for me! As he was leaving, he said "now you can say your home teachers came!" and I said.... "oh, I see how it is, and I thought we were friends..." and then he said "when home teachers come to visit, they just talk, but when friends come to visit, they bring hot chocolate!" with that said, he was on his way! It was pretty much hilarious, and super random, but the hot cocoa was super good! yay for Tyler!
FHE was fun! We played games, The Great Dalmuti and Apples to Apples. Dad was the Dalmuti for WAY too long, and then Dean dethroned him. We switched games at that point. Apples to Apples is most definitely my favorite game, and I almost won, I don't know how Jen got 7 cards, I think when I wasn't watching she stole some from the pile ;) We ate brownies that were really good and had a little time to talk. While we were playing, Shelly's card was chosen for the word "obnoxious" and once she won she grabbed the card and held it up and said "I WON OBNOXIOUS" really obnoxiously, it was pretty much PERFECT! I can't lie, it was hilarious!
I don't know what the more was that I mentioned in the title... but its 8:43 and I'm gonna go to bed! Happy Thanksgiving in like 3 days, I can't wait for turkey & stuffing & PUMPKIN PIE!

it's been a while!
Well... happy Saturday to all! It's been two weeks since my last post, mostly because I wasn't at work last Saturday with extra time to do so. So much has happened that I could write about, I don't even know where to start! I guess I'll start with vacation!
Tuesday, the 7th mom, dad and I went to Virginia to visit Val & James and the kids. It was possibly the coolest trip I've ever been on. The airplane right was super long but I found ways to pass the time. Wednesday we went into DC and went to the Holocaust Museum and to visit the Lincoln, Washington, WWII, Korean War & Vietnam War memorials. Thursday we went to Monticello to Jefferson's house, that was REALLY cool! That night was a BYU Football game (atleast I think it was Thursday?). BYU basically whooped Wyoming, 55-7. I wore my new I heart BYU shirt that Meg gave me for my bday, I think thats why they won. Only the girls watched the entire game, the guys all wimped out and went to bed during the 4th quarter. I love BYU football! Friday the kids didn't have school so we went to the park, it was so nice outside! We had KFC for lunch, I LOVE chicken, then mom, dad & I left all the Peterson's and went ot Manassas to see the battle site. For dinner we went to Five Guys, that was the BEST hamburger I have ever enjoyed in my entire life, oh man was it great! Saturday Eliza had tennis, Seth had soccer, and then was the baptism! It was incredible, like baptisms should be, I loved it! Afterwards we went to Outback for dinner, where Rachel proceeded to baptize her french fries, because they were 8 years old. Oh man, she's a cutie patootie! Sunday was church, and oh man, I loved church! I met some interesting people in Sunday School, along with maybe two hilarious people. Caroline got blessed, and she didn't cry, I love it when the kid doesn't cry. Monday we went back into DC and went to parts of the Smithsonian. We started at the castle (vistor center) and then went to the Museum of Natural History. After that we went to the AIR AND SPACE MUSEUM! That was my favorite museum, I now want to be a pilot or an astronaut, well, atleast I wanted to when I was there. After that we went to Arlington Cemetary and went to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers. We watched the change of the guard, that was an amazing ceremony. After that, we drove up to Maryland to the DC temple. We went to the Visitor Center and they gave us a private showing of the Joseph Smith movie, lets just say i LOVE that movie! Then... Tuesday we went to FIVE GUYS AGAIN! woo woo, I LOVE that place. Then it was off to the airport. We got home and I went to bed, man I was tired.
Now... that pretty much sums up my trip, it was INCREDIBLE! I want to go back and do more of the Smithsonian, there are SO many different parts to it. But for now, I'll just sit at my desk where I am debating on what to work on. I have my BYU essay written out, I just need to edit it, but I also am giving a talk in church tomorrow on Charity and I need to start writing that.... So much to do, so much time, I don't even know where to begin... :D

Happy Birthday... to ME!
Before I start goin on about my birthday... HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRANDON! It was his birthday on Friday. ALSO, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROTHER GASSER! He and I are super cool birthday sharing buddies... so happy birthday to us all!
Yesterday was the beginning of my birthday weekend! We celebrated in Seminary after I told my super cool stories of great great grandpa Duckworth! We ate cookies and played games, and they sang, SO PERFECTLY! School was pretty tight, I shared cookies with a lot of people.
After school I went to work, and then I interviewed a photographer for my senior project. THEN... Steph came and took me out to dinner (Las Margaritas) where I wore their sombrero and they sang to me! We then went to the art museum by bell square so I could do a review for my humanities class. THEN we hit up bell square, I bought a new brush for my makeup at the bare minerals store, but only because it's the month of my birthday and I got a discount! Then steph and I came back to our house and watched Over the Hedge, or atleast most of it. I fell asleep part way through, and so did she, so I don't know how far we got. She woke up and went home and then I went up to bed.
Today is where it gets exciting... at 6:32 (after I woke up at 6:30) I got a text message from Tyler saying Happy Birthday! So after I texted him back and told him thanks, but that he should still be sleeping, he texted me back to see if I had already had breakfast. At about 6:40 he called to ask me to come open the front door! He had brought me a most excellent pancake, apple sauce, peaches, and hot cocoa breakfast! The best part was, the pancakes were shaped like Sister Wendy's teeth! It was a thrilling breakfast, although I'm pretty sure I was half asleep throughout most of it!
Once I got to work, Melissa gave me some flowers, Maryann had left me some candy, and Laren said "oh, happy birthday!" I've since talked to Bryan on the phone, who was disappointed to not have been the first to say happy birthday, and I've talked to Paul, Jeanne, Paige and Katie all online. It's been a thrilling day! It's making me look forward even more to tonight, where I am doing nothing... pretty much the best birthday ever! haha!
totally UNRELATED to my birthday... Today I also signed up for housing for BYU. It opened at 7:00 my time, and I got on at like 7:35. I was number 2000 something, but it only took about an hour for me to get to have my turn. It was exciting to fill out the survey saying that I do like certain types of music and that I don't like other types... it was exciting and a half times ten million! woo woo
Basically.... HAPPY SATURDAY EVERYBODY!
