*Phone Rings*
ME: Good Afternoon, TDW, This is Marci
LADY: I don't want to say my name
ME: Okay, how may I help you?
LADY: I know a person that I work with who has threatened to commit suicide. They are one of those people that cuts themself.
ME: Excuse me maam, I think you have the wrong number. This is a garage door repair company.
LADY: OH CRAP! *hangs up*
So... we get wrong number calls a TON at work, but never ONCE have I gotten a phone call like this one! I think this will be the most memorable phone call ever from working here!

Finals... they're DONE!
Well... I'm back to the wonderful world of blogging! I was thinking about updating during the week, but I was a little preoccupied with two pep band games, finals, worrying about cp, and thinking about my BYU scholarship essays which are due next week. Well, now those pep band games are done, and I only have a few more to go to. Finals are over until June... and I'm already nervous about those... These finals were fairly easy... I got my Music History final back already and I got 91/91. Most ridiculous answer I gave:
Question: Name 5 jazz artists, their instrument, and their greatest contribution to the development of jazz.
My answer: Charlie Parker-trumpet-taught kids not to do drugs (this was my 5th artist)
-don't know how I got full points on that question, it was just SLIGHTLY ridiculous! Oh boy, I'm kind of sad that class is over, but not too sad. I'll just miss talking with Carly for an hour each morning. Good times in that class.
My band "final" was a practice performance, we'll have our real performances next week. It was pretty great. Child Psych I gave a 5 minute overview of the 25 minute lesson I planned about Self-Esteem. I'm pretty sure I got 100/100 on that one, unless she grades really really hard. Humanities, thats the ONE i'm not sure about. Before the final I had 95.3%, so we'll see how much this final affects my grade. Peer Coaching was a joke, I answered questions like "What was the hardest part of this class?" and "Would you recommend this class to a peer?" Possibly the most amazing "final" ever. Oh well, they're done!
CP, oh mylanta, I think this is the first time that the administration has made a decision that made me REALLY happy. We had a section of our research paper, the Findings, due this coming Monday. That was going to be 6 pages about the information we found. On Thursday & Friday they announced that we don't have to turn that in until March 6 when we turn in our whole research paper. I am so excited to not have to worry about that anymore! The last thing on my list of things to do was my BYU scholarship essays. I haven't touched those for more than a week, but will probably work on them a little after work and before I hang out with Jen.
Tonight is Tolo, but I'm very anti-tolo right now! So instead, I'm hangin out with Jen, one of our FHE girls! I'm so super excited, and we haven't even decided what we're going to do yet.
BUT, for now... I'm sitting here behind my desk at The Door Works, waiting for the phone to ring! I'm dreading what Monday will bring me, mostly just because I'll have hard classes again. Love to you all!

Happy Friday!
Well... I know it's not quite Saturday yet, but I'm feeling a little lucky and decided to update tonight as well! I don't know how much time I'll have on the computer at work tomorrow, since I'm leaving for like 2 hours to go to Paige's baptism, but I'm so excited!
I have a new love... and no, I'm not talking about some boy... it's Windows Media Center. The family I am babysitting for right now has it, and I LOVE IT! I want to get it so bad when I get my computer, it is so much fun! I don't know if this is a normal love, but oh boy, it makes me so happy! lol, I'm a bit odd, I know!
Finals start in 5 days, and I don't know why, but I'm really excited! Possibly because then I won't be in Music History or Humanities anymore... but it also means that I have tests or presentations in every class, and that then the new semester will start. I'm super scared for it. Next semester I have:
1. Pre-College Writing
2. Band
3. Government (with CASSIDY)
4. Aerobics
5. Peer Coaching
6. Creative Writing
I'm so sad to have 6 classes. Early dismissal has been so nice. It will be so hard to not leave school until 2:01, instead of the 1:00 that I'm used to. PLUS, it will cut into my work time. I don't know quite how I feel about this, but I have to take four of those classes to graduate, and I can't quit band now! Pretty sure I'm going to LOVE aerobics, but other than that... I'm not so sure! Janyse or Val... did either of you have Cassidy? I know he's been at the school long enough for one of you to have had him. If you did, did you like the class/do well? I've heard too many scary stories, I need yours if you have them :)
Well friends... I'm off! I'm not really sure when the parents are getting home, and I would hate to be updating my blog and make them wait for me to finish before I can leave. Oh I love babysitting kids who go to bed at 7:00! Maybe I'll even blog again tomorrow at work, we'll see if you're so lucky! And maybe I'll blog from home sometime soon so I can add pictures, I do have some of those on the computer now!

SNOW!
Well my Megan/sisters/sister-in-law/mother or any other random person who may find this post... Happy Saturday! As I'm sitting here at work IT IS SNOWING! I'm so excited... I love playing in the snow. :) It's super fun... we're just watching old episodes of The Office and going crazy. I'm finding my favorite quotes from the AMAZING episodes and am loving it SO much!

Elton John anyone?
IT SNOWED TODAY! After I got home from work I was working on CP (senior project) and then BAM! It started snowing! At first it was hail like snow, but it wasn't hail... it was pure amazingness! Seminary has been cancelled, although my teacher hasn't called me yet to tell me, hmmm.... and school will most likely be cancelled, or possibly delayed. This is the BEST year for bad weather, I'm a senior and don't have to make up these days, unless they take away mid-winter break or something. It's AMAZING!
Speaking of CP... I'm actually making some progress on it! I've pretty much finished taking my pictures, I've loaded them onto the computer, and I've begun editing. Now I just have to finish editing, send them of to snapfish and then wait for them to come. In the meantime, I need to work on my research paper.
Yesterday I went on a field trip with the preschool to the AQUARIUM!!! I forgot how much I love the otters! I'll post some pics later, the computer is too slow right now.
I'm currently working on a project for Music History about ELTON JOHN! I need to play one of his songs during my presentation... What is your favorite/the best Elton John song.?
I don't even know where to begin... so many songs stand out to me, I need your help!
