Exciting!

To make what could be a long story short, I GOT ACCEPTED TO BYU!

I got my letter yesterday and was super excited... oh man! Just a little more than 8 months and I'll be headed off to the Y! I called Megan before anybody else and we had a little screaming fest, oh I love Megan! All this happened on the way to the 5th Avenue to see White Christmas with mom. They added a bunch of new songs, I'm not sure how I felt about them. I liked the songs, but I guess I like the movie too much! It was really different and I had to stay on my toes.

Nothing else too exciting is going on... 5 more days of school before Christmas Break. In the next 5 days I have to:

-write the research process for my senior project
-watch Phantom of the Opera
-write a compare/contrast essay of Phantom of the Opera & The King and I
-write an observation about a kid in the preschool
-begin working on a small ensemble piece for band
-answer like 20 questions based on the Phantom website

plus the normal: work, young womens, pep band, babysitting... possibly doing something with friends. Wednesday night will be fun, it's Mr. Mustang up at the school, it should be a swell night. I hope it's as funny as last year when this guy dressed up half as Jasmine and half as Aladdin. Oh boy, good times!

Well... I should probably start really buckling down and writing my research process for CP. I think the deadline is 3.5 hours away, yuck! I don't like these midnight deadlines on Sundays. POO on the school for that one!

Marci!

Since I haven't been able to congratulate you over the phone, I'll do it now! CONGRATULATIONS! We're so excited for you. There's nothing like that Freshman year! It totally ROCKS. You will be loving life in a few more months! (Not that you're not loving it now, but you'll be loving it even more!)
