On Monday, Chris and I got our engagement pictures done. Abby, our photographer, was in Chris's ward a few years ago and is in the photography program here at BYU. We absolutely loved working with Abby and it was a blast to go meet her on campus today to pick up our cd of pictures. Here is the link to her photo blog where she put a few pictures up.

These are really beautiful! Where did you guys go to get such great background colors too? I mean, you two obviously are hot, but the entire photo is great. I love how on the instaproofs page you get all of them-even the awkward kissing ones, where you're going or or out of the kiss. or there's one where you both look a little...not with it. :) ANyway. I have a random question, caused by a photo of you holding hands. Have you ever tried to have his thumb on top of yours instead of yours ontop of his? And if so, is it weird? That is all.
oh..and I just realized I'm in under Oliver's identity...but he wouldn't make comments like this...
Megan, all our pictures were taken up at The Riverwoods. We have tried having his thumb on top of mine instead, but it is really weird. Are you doing a study about this, or are you just curious? I figured it was you not Oliver... but it made me laugh anyway :)
Having looked through all the proofs, I do like the shots Abby chose for her blog. Have you decided which one will go into the wedding announcements? Tough choices, I think!

Marci, you know, now that I had time to think about it, it wasn't the thumb thing, although that is interesting that you have tried and feel awkward. It's the "whose arm goes in front when holding hands" thing? I refuse to have my arm in front of Oliver's because it feels weird. And its something that he always tries because he knows I feel weird. Men, once you find one whom you'll love forever, you really can't ever live without them again. :) I hope you are as happy as you look!
