When you put something on the back burner, turn the back burner on NOT the front burner. Your chocolate chips and peanut butter will melt much faster that way. Then you can have muddy buddies 5 minutes sooner.
Once I turned on the wrong burner and my glass casserole dish full of uncooked rice exploded, sending hot glass everywhere, melted part of my vinyl floor, and amazingly missed Eric who was standing on a stool right next to it. I was trying to heat up a pot full of soup for a casserole. Oops.
I might also add that when you turn on the incorrect burner, you do NOT leave your salt and pepper shakers on the glass cooktop that you ARE heating up. Even stainless steel S&P shakers BURN UP IN FLAMES when they are warmed to a sufficent degree. But you're probably smarter than that!

Yeah...I'm glad the only casualty was 5 minutes of wasted time. I hope you are keeping yourself busy!
