Cookies

Last week I tried a new cookie recipe- Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies. I was pretty excited to try them, I had heard that it was a pretty awesome recipe. I KNEW they were winners though when Chris chose cookies over muddy buddies the other day. We had some friends over and so I made muddy buddies for our dinner & a movie double date. Chris ate some muddy buddies then (probably because he didn't want to pull out the cookies and have to share them) but hasn't touched them since.

I need to make cookies for a Relief Society Activity this week and he asked me to make another batch even though our first batch isn't completely gone yet. I am so excited to make them again! And this time the two of us won't eat 4 dozen cookies.

Sounds yummy! Too bad I'm on a strict *sugar detox* diet or I think I might venture to make some of these.

Enjoy the second batch! :)

Will you share the recipe please? I make cookies occasionally, and I'd love to try a new type!

Also--for your movie list, I recommend Invictus for your "I" movie, and the plot and actors in "Bucket List" I can somewhat recommend for "B", but there is some language you have to overlook. If you think you can handle it, it's pretty enjoyable.

I've already seen the bucket list, mom, but thanks for the suggestion! we've got the blind side from netflix right now and i've been dying to watch it! i'll have to give invictus a look. any suggestions for U? or V? or Z? The only z movie i could think of is zoolander and i have seen that movie about a million times.

I know I'm jumping in here a bit inappropriately since the question was directed to Mom, but I have some suggestions for movies:

V = Victoria and Albert (BBC...similar feel as Pride and Prejudice only based on a true story. One of my favorite movies of all time).

U = Uncle Buck. (80s flick with John Candy - absolutely hilarious).

Sorry, I don't have anything for "Z" - that's a tough one.

Found the recipe! Thanks. I'll get the ingredients I am missing on my next shopping trip. I'm glad Joanne had suggestions for U and V. As for Z----can you fudge just a little and watch Doctor Zhivago? It is worth watching, and if you abbreviate doctor, you're only skipping TWO LETTERS!!!
Love you!

My VT's made me some toffee chip cookies at Christmas. They were so yummy that I didn't even share them with my kids. I'm so mean. :) Glad you liked your wedding gift. :)
