A Christmas project

About a month or so ago I was browsing Pinterest (big mistake!) and found an idea I LOVED! Fabric alphabet magnets. The blog I saw them on just showed a picture of their magnets, silly dead Pinterest link. Then I browsed Etsy and found several sellers selling alphabet magnets. Most were around $50 just for the upper case letters. I didn't want to pay that much, so I talked through what I thought the steps would be with my mom. I had a plan so I headed to Hobby Lobby just to "browse" the fabric but found the stuff I knew I wanted to use! The bag with all the items sat in my craft box until tonight. I immediately ran into some problems and mom saved the day! Now, if nothing else, Emma will be able to learn how to spell IF, because those were the easiest letters to start with. They aren't perfect, but I love them! And I made them by myself (ok, with a lot of over the phone and on FaceTime guidance from my mom). My goal is to have all the uppercase letters as well as an extra M so Emma could spell her name. And probably extra vowels just since they are popular letters. I bought enough fabric to do upper and lower case letters, but the lowercase will just have to wait. I've got other projects I'm working on too, and this is not one I can work on while Emma is awake.
