Twice in one day!

Well... I'm back! Now that I'm done with work, and at Paul's house, I'm on a computer that is more than slightly functional. The computer I was on at work is horrible, well mostly the keyboard is. You have to push the spacebar REALLY hard, and then sometimes, the letter "m" doesn't work, and that's unfortunate!

So I have a story to tell you all, a very important story. I got home from work today and dads car was gone. Mom and dad were gone as well. Now, there was no note saying where they were or when they would be home. The calendar only said "M tend PKRT @ 6:45" and then some "10:00 rehersal". Clearly, at 4:15 none of these events were still happening. After sitting for a while thinking that maybe they'd come home, I thought to myself "Hmmm, maybe I should call their cell phones and see where the are." Now, knowing mom and dad, I assumed that moms phone would be dead and that dads phone would either be on his dresser or on the counter in the bathroom. Needless to say, I was right. Calling them did no good, so instead, I got online and was talking to Syd. I complained "I DON'T KNOW WHERE MY FAMILY IS!" and then proceeded to not talk while I was freaking out. Meanwhile, my favorite playlist on iTunes just happened to start playing and I was finally calming down a bit. Mom, realizing that I was home and had no clue where they were, went to a phone, not her own of course because it was dead, and told me that they were at the church and that they'd be home "soon". Moral of the story... if you leave your house and know that your kids will come home while you are gone either: leave them a note or have your cell phone on so they can call you. It also would've been nice if there had been a message on the phone, or on my phone... hmmmm, anywho, I'm not freaked out anymore because I know where they were. Now, if I get home from babysitting and they aren't home, I'll start the whole freaking out process ALL OVER AGAIN! and that won't be fun!

On a whole other level, it's Mid-Winter Break officially and guess what I'll be doing........ HOMEWORK!

Pre-College Writing: a reading assignment on the television and answering some questions
Band: Like I ever do any band "homework"
Gov: studying for the test I missed; starting to take notes on the next chapter
Aerobics: hmmm... maybe I'll take a spin on the treadmill or if it's nice, maybe I'll go running...
Peer Coaching: No homework, nope... none... ever!
Creative Writing: Looking at the carpet and writing about it; analyzing a quote; writing 5 of my own quotes
Senior Project: Creating my portfolio (aka, a scrapbook of PKR&T) as well as writing atleast 6 pages of my final essay...

wow, that sounds like it will be a VERY FUN break! If only I had been a little more productive on those two days I was sick.

I don't know why, but this keyboard is hurting my thumb, and my arm hurts too. Maybe it's because the keyboard is lower than the keyboard at home. I'll have to look into this one! Well everyone, tata for now! I think I did a sufficient job of blogging, making up for the weak post I wrote at work.
