Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving was a little non-traditional for us this year. We were invited to spend Thanksgiving with another couple in our ward who happens to live in our same complex. The husband is allergic to turkey, so we had some great chicken instead. We took the chicken, some stuffing and a pumpkin pie over and they had some great sweet potatoes, a broccoli salad, and a few other tasty sides. Everything tasted great, it just wasn't the food we are used to for Thanksgiving. While we let dinner settle a little before breaking out the pie we played a wild game of Cranium. We had a blast, then came home, I worked on a puzzle and we watched Chris's families traditional Thanksgiving night movie--National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. I had never seen it before but laughed for most of it. It was a great movie, one that I'm excited to turn into a tradition for us!

How can someone be allergic to turkey but OK with chicken? This puzzles me...but what the hey! I bet it was fun anyway!
I'm with Mom, I've never heard of a turkey allergy before, but I guess stranger things have happened?
Sounds like a fun time full of the non-traditional AND traditional (or soon to be...). :)
