Emma had a super nasty cold for about 1 1/2 weeks! Her little nose was so sad, but her cough was the worst! One morning she coughed so hard she threw up, it was so sad to see her sick so much. She loved the humidifier we had running in her room. These first two pictures show just how sad she looked. She was pretty miserable!
These pictures are from the day that she threw up. I went in her room to get her when she woke up that morning and as soon as I opened her door I could smell it. She had thrown up in her crib between when she woke up and when I came in for her. We immediately went to the bathroom to give her a bath and Chris helped get her bedding and doggy into the washing machine. That day she was especially cuddly which was a nice change --normally she doesn't like sitting and cuddling with me.
She took a 3 hour nap that day and when she woke up from her nap she just wanted to lay down on me and watch a show. Can't tell you how many episodes of Daniel Tiger we watched that morning.
Thankfully, she's all better now!! We missed two weeks of story time and one week of church. It was a super long time for a kiddo to be sick, and she's much happier now! Now we just have to get her back onto a good sleep schedule again!

So sad when babies are sick because you can't explain to them why they feel rotten. Brody coughs and throws up too. It's lovely. In fact he just did that yesterday, all over my shirt. :) Glad she's on the mend now!
