it's been a while!

Well... happy Saturday to all! It's been two weeks since my last post, mostly because I wasn't at work last Saturday with extra time to do so. So much has happened that I could write about, I don't even know where to start! I guess I'll start with vacation!

Tuesday, the 7th mom, dad and I went to Virginia to visit Val & James and the kids. It was possibly the coolest trip I've ever been on. The airplane right was super long but I found ways to pass the time. Wednesday we went into DC and went to the Holocaust Museum and to visit the Lincoln, Washington, WWII, Korean War & Vietnam War memorials. Thursday we went to Monticello to Jefferson's house, that was REALLY cool! That night was a BYU Football game (atleast I think it was Thursday?). BYU basically whooped Wyoming, 55-7. I wore my new I heart BYU shirt that Meg gave me for my bday, I think thats why they won. Only the girls watched the entire game, the guys all wimped out and went to bed during the 4th quarter. I love BYU football! Friday the kids didn't have school so we went to the park, it was so nice outside! We had KFC for lunch, I LOVE chicken, then mom, dad & I left all the Peterson's and went ot Manassas to see the battle site. For dinner we went to Five Guys, that was the BEST hamburger I have ever enjoyed in my entire life, oh man was it great! Saturday Eliza had tennis, Seth had soccer, and then was the baptism! It was incredible, like baptisms should be, I loved it! Afterwards we went to Outback for dinner, where Rachel proceeded to baptize her french fries, because they were 8 years old. Oh man, she's a cutie patootie! Sunday was church, and oh man, I loved church! I met some interesting people in Sunday School, along with maybe two hilarious people. Caroline got blessed, and she didn't cry, I love it when the kid doesn't cry. Monday we went back into DC and went to parts of the Smithsonian. We started at the castle (vistor center) and then went to the Museum of Natural History. After that we went to the AIR AND SPACE MUSEUM! That was my favorite museum, I now want to be a pilot or an astronaut, well, atleast I wanted to when I was there. After that we went to Arlington Cemetary and went to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers. We watched the change of the guard, that was an amazing ceremony. After that, we drove up to Maryland to the DC temple. We went to the Visitor Center and they gave us a private showing of the Joseph Smith movie, lets just say i LOVE that movie! Then... Tuesday we went to FIVE GUYS AGAIN! woo woo, I LOVE that place. Then it was off to the airport. We got home and I went to bed, man I was tired.

Now... that pretty much sums up my trip, it was INCREDIBLE! I want to go back and do more of the Smithsonian, there are SO many different parts to it. But for now, I'll just sit at my desk where I am debating on what to work on. I have my BYU essay written out, I just need to edit it, but I also am giving a talk in church tomorrow on Charity and I need to start writing that.... So much to do, so much time, I don't even know where to begin... :D

Fabulous! I've been waiting for a new post from you! E-mail your essay and I'd love to take a look at it...and give you any suggestions. (Not that I'd ever know if you took them or not)

Anyway, great to have you home!

Wow! See what a late reader I am? It's CRAZY busy just even reading what you all did when you were here. We are so glad that you were able to make it out here with mom and dad. My kids now remember who Aunt Marci is!
