In October I am headed up to Seattle to spend some time with Steph before she goes on her mission to Dallas. I'm so freaking excited! While I'm up there I get to:
-see Paul and his family
-reexperience General Conference Springgay style. Can I just say I am so excited about that?
-be introduced to Nelson's Bakery and their famous "potato". apparently it is a sin that I lived so close for so long and have never been there?
-see WICKED!
This last thing I get to do makes me so happy! Back in the day (not too long ago, but my senior year of high school) we played a medley of songs from Wicked in band. It was probably my favorite song that we ever played in my whole 8 years of band. Whenever we rehearsed Wicked it was a good day in band. Because I liked it, it was the one song I would practice for fun. I had a sweet oboe solo that I loved, and there were some other way "rememberable" solos too. Tyler bought the Wicked soundtrack and we listened to it every time we were together driving somewhere. That included Prom. As our group drove home from the dance we listened to Wicked. Basically, I LOVE the music so much. And now I get to go see Wicked! I'm just a little bit excited about this.
Umm, that's about it. YAY!

That's awesome! I had actually thought of going to Wicked in Seattle in October...then realized that it didn't make sense since we're poor and..yeah. I'm excited for you!
Yes! Wicked is terrific--I like the music, but when we saw it in Chicago, the Understudy played the part of Elphaba and Janyse and I were disappointed a bit in her voice. I hope your "players" are exceptional.
I'm excited for you to go to WICKED!! It's the best! What a great trip you have planned.
I can't wait! I'm so flipping excited!!!!!!!! And we see each other in a month!!!!!!! Oh man I love you marce!
