every spring, USAA has a big party. it's kind of like a company picnic, but way better. in the past it has been referred to as "springfest" but last weekend it was called culturefest.. a huge chunk of the campus was set up as different countries. each country had a stage with dancing and music from that country. each country also had booths for food. we ate a bean and cheese chalupa, a churro, a chicken taco, a bbq sandwich, some roasted corn, jambalaya, pizza, italian sausage on a stick and i think that might be it. it was so much fun to go walk around and see all the people in their dance costumes too! while we were there we met up with our friend Clint and his three boys. Clint is our EQP, and his wife was out of town so we helped him keep track of his kids and then afterwards we went over to his house where i watched How to Train Your Dragon with the boys while Chris & Clint set some things up on Clint's new macbook.
we had a pretty sweet weekend, which was nice, because the beginning of this week turned out to be full of nastiness. we both woke up right around 4am monday morning with an extreme need to vomit. as i told my mom, you know it's true love when you throw up together. one of us into the toilet, the other into the trash can in our teeny bathroom. we were better on tuesday but took it really slow before doing too much. i'm still trying to catch up on the laundry and cleaning that i missed out on monday and tuesday. hooray for being sick!

Oh man! That's miserable. Your weekend sounded awesome though.
:-D
Your culturefest sounds like a load of fun! Now that my computer is back, with its "favorites" list, I am catching up on people's blogs. Love you!
