Today I got a calling at church! The member of the bishopric that extended the calling was shocked when I told him that I didn't have a calling last semester (although I seem to recall talking to that same guy in October about the fact that I didn't have one). I got called to be an FHE Group Leader (aka, FHE Mom) and I'm way excited.
Also... yesterday 215 celebrated Allison's birthday by playing a little Mario Kart on the Sarah's families wii. Lets just say... Kelli, Jenny and I pretty much dominated 10th, 11th and 12th place :) We had a blast up in AF and it was a most excellent and needed break from school, even though we're only 2 weeks into the new semester.
Tomorrow there isn't school. Or work. Best day ever. I can't wait to sleep in until like 10 (instead of 6:30) and write a paper and do a ton of reading, and then go to FHE!

Of course, congratulations are in order. Did your power come back on finally? Or did you freeze your tootsies all day and finally head somewhere else to get warm?
That's great! Now you'll always know where and when you're meeting for FHE! Congrats Marci - you'll do fantastic at this calling. It makes completely sense why the Lord would need you in it.
