Rain
It rained. The best rain I have experienced in Texas. It started raining around the time I went to bed last night, and it was still raining when I woke up. It was raining when we left for church, and sprinkling as we left church. In the past when it has rained here it has lasted 10-15 minutes tops. We got some freaking awesome rain. We've needed rain, so it was nice to get it... but I was more excited about the rain because it reminded me of home.

Isn't it funny how much we Northwestern natives miss rain when we don't have it? I very much feel the same way when it rains here in Boston. Love it! May you have many more (good) rainy days this autumn!
