ALMOST spring break!

Well... it's almost spring break, possibly the worst time of the school year. I always dread the last few days before we have days off. Of course every teacher ever invented has something big, whether it be an essay (pre-college writing) a festival (band) a test (government) or a poetry book (creative writing). I also had callbacks tonight for From Cumorah's Hill, have been going to school, and work and trying to survive. I am practically going nuts. I finally finished my poetry book at about 10:30 tonight, only because I worked on it for MANY hours last night, oh that was smart of me! I spent an hour on my Literary Analysis Essay for PCW and hope that it's good enough that I can maintain the grade I have in that class. According to my gov class that actually took the test today while I was at Bothell High for my band festival, it's a 25 question multiple-choice test, he's going soft on us! Our band festival was fantastic... the first group played at 8:30 and we didn't play until 10:30, so we all slept for the first 1.5 hours of the festival. It was great looking around and seeing 3 rows of kids all with their head against the back of their chair, and their legs tucked in all funky because there was NOT enough leg room at that performing arts center. It was amusing to see how awake the other schools were, poor people, they must not be stressed enough.

I have some amazing things to do over spring break, the list is pretty good:
-Work every day, somedays stay longer (they want to train me for the summer i guess)
-Attend a City Council Meeting (I went to one this week which was fantastic, and this will be my last one)
-Volunteer Wednesday Night for my Community Service Project
-Apply for the BYU Alumni Scholarship
-Start looking into possible class schedules for BYU
-Begin researching for my extra credit essay for Government, yay for EC!

AND... Jenna comes home the Saturday at the end of Spring Break, I'm so excited to see her again, it will be one ginormous hug fest when she gets home, YAY!

Well... I think that's pretty much it, it's not quite midnight and if I decide not to study for gov, I'll be in bed almost asleep by midnight and life will be FANTASTIC.

OH! Tonight I had callbacks for From Cumorah's Hill and I'm not sure how they went... however, to attend callbacks I had to miss the Napa CHRISTMAS PARTY... yes, Christmas in March. It would've been FANTASTIC! I hope everyone had fun without me, although it will be very difficult for most of them ;) dang, there went my opportunity to meet the guys that work at the Issaquah store... grrr! Callbacks better have been better than I thought, giving me a solo/spot in the trio... otherwise I'll be very sad that I missed my Christmas Party.

There we go... 'nough said! love to you all!
