Redmond: 64
Federal Way: 62
According to The Seattle Times rankings, we were number 16 and FW was number 4. Lets just say... they weren't too happy to lose to us. It was pretty close the entire game, with us ahead the majority of the time. It felt so good to win it, our team/fans/band were all so excited! We're headed back to the Tacoma Dome today and tomorrow atleast, and if we win even just one of those games then we're goin back on Saturday. I am so happy that Pep Band isn't over yet! I also love that we get to wear our shirts for 3 straight days atleast, thats pretty gross, but whatev! Ya gotta do what you gotta do.
Game time is 7:00 pm and we're facing Ferris. Not really sure about them, but we'll see how Redmond does! GO STANGS!!!!
Now on a sad note...
Last night on my way home from the game I was driving a friend home as it was starting to snow lightly up by the school. Now, in his neighborhood it had already been snowing a little and had gotten a little cold. The road was icy and Stanley (my car) didn't do so hot. As I was trying to turn, Stanley had a different idea and slid straight into a utility pole. We're pretty sure he's totaled, but we're still waiting on the guy from the insurance company to go take a look at it. If Cam got a picture of it which I think he did, I'll post it so you all can see Stanley crunched up in the front. We were both lucky and weren't hurt at all, but I did bite my tongue, and it hurt. Dad and I were at the intersection where it happened til about 9:15 waiting for the tow truck. The police officer that came to make sure we didn't damage the pole said that I was really lucky, I barely had missed a stop sign and if I had hit it, he would've had to file a report, but since the pole wasn't damaged and no property was damaged, we just have to deal with my car being damaged.
School starts an hour late today and dad is driving me. And then I think my friends will be picking me up for Seminary every day. It was really sad to watch the tow man take Stanley away. I have now decided that I'm not a huge fan of snow.
Well... since school doesn't start til 8:30, I'm going to use this extra hour to study for my gov test, since I didn't get to study much last night. Pretty much any plans I had for last night went down the toilet.

Marci!! That's so sad! I absolutely HATE driving in the snow/ice. I'm so sorry you had to go through that experience. Poor Stanley.
I'm a little psycho about snow-driving. At choir practice a few weeks ago, a girl was saying that the snow was, "coming down fast". The practice had just begun, so I sang the opening song/warmup with them and then bolted for the parking lot. I'm not about to be caught in less than average driving conditions. Accidents SUCK!
(Shortly after we were married, James and I slid on some ice and rammed our Jeep into a retaining wall. It just takes once, and I avoid snow like the plague.)
I love snow when I know I don't need to go anywhere...when I do I HATE the snow.
Oh...one last thing. Remember the hllly two-lane road you take to get to our house? Last time it snowed while we were at church and I had to get home I was caught in a HUGE pileup on 605. There were people all over the ditches and some almost were involved in a head-on collision. It was MAJOR scary. Oh Pepto!
I heard that you and James had some fun in the snow with your Jeep... mom told me when I called to tell her about the accident. I used to want to drive in snow/ice and dad wouldn't let me, but now I have absolutely NO DESIRE to drive in snow/ice. I used to want to take a car to BYU, but now I don't want to... it snows there!
It was a rough night, I didn't get much studying done for my government test, and that was obvious when we graded our tests in class today. Oh well, atleast I have the rest of the semester to hopefully do better.
There was a huge accident on I-90 or one of the other I's... I don't remember. It was HUGE, I was so thankful to not be in that pile up, but to just have Stanely and a pole.
I wrote a killer poem in Creative Writing about how I hate snow. Pretty much... AWESOME! I have whip lash now, and it HURTS! OH MYLANTA.
