I MADE IT... barely!

Well... now it's Friday night, and I'd like to think that I made it through my day at school. It was a rough night last night, staying up late to finish writing my essay and creating my poetry book, didn't bother to study for my gov test, I had all day at school to do that!

Today was possibly the biggest waste of time as far as school was concerned. In Pre-College Writing we ate donuts, cinnamon rolls, drank juice, and started watching Forrest Gump, because that was the only movie she had in her closet. It had nothing to do with anything. We also turned our essays in.... good times! In Band we talked about the festival from yesterday and how the judges all gave us 2's, which is pretty good (it's on a scale of 1-5, 1 being the best) so we were feeling pretty good about it, although mr. robertson thinks we could have done better... In Government was where my day turned for possibly the worse... instead of having me take the test after school like he told me he would, I got to take the test during class, in the classroom, while the rest of the class talked about some of the most random things ever, like Kidney Stones, Foot Surgery, and I don't even know what the other thing was. It was not the best test taking environment, although it is probably better than if I had taken it after school. Last time I took a test after school for him, he was talking to me the entire time, expecting me to respond, that was hard! In aerobics we had a sub, and when i say sub, I mean that our teacher forgot to get a sub so we had another teacher come in. Basically, she took us out to the track and said "walk around the track til I tell you you can stop. I don't care how many laps you do, just try to keep moving at least a little" itw as perfect, since I guess yesterday they were told "10 laps by the end of the period, get it done. I'm counting for you" boy am I sad I missed that one. Peer Coaching was perfect like always, I kinda just sat there and did nothing, while the teachers tried to get a movie ready for the class to watch. By the time the bell rang for me to leave, Happy Feet was starting. In Creative Writing we turned in our poetry books and ate popcicles.

Like I said... most pointless day of school EVER. Then I went to work, got ready for STATEMENT DAY! (oh janyse, do you miss statement day?) Now I'm babysitting. The kids have been asleep for what seems like forever, and I'm getting sick of playing Bookworm Adventures. It is possibly the most amazing word game I've played, but I've been sitting here for like 2.5 hours since the kids went down. My eyes aren't enjoying staring at the computer screen.

On a super exciting note, May 11th is the day I get to choose my housing for BYU, and June 8th is the day I get to register for classes. I'm pretty sure I'll be late to school on the 11th (since housing signups begin at 8:30 am MST) and I'll be staying up super late on June 7th since you can start registering for classes at midnight MST... basically, I'm super stoked for college! Do any of you have suggestions on what to take fall verses winter (like... am heritage, biology, phys sci... the typical freshman classes?) also, any teachers I should avoid like the plague or ones that I should get regardless of how early in the morning the class may be? As many years as it may have been since you lovely folk *my loverly siblings* have been at BYU, I find that I agree with you all fairly well on classes and teachers, and have mixed reactions with friends, so I thought I'd seek you all out, and what better place than my blog! hooray! Let me know if you have any suggestions at all for my schedule, I am most willing to take suggestions.

Well... because it's 11:12 pm and I have no clue when these parents are going to get home, I'm going to publish my post and play a game so I'm not blogging when they get home. Because tomorrow is Saturday, you can most likely expect another post from me, but we'll see about that one, I might not have much else to say.... that is dependant on any customers I have tomorrow morning. Well... love to you all!
