I hate…

when you get to the airport and then you find out that your first flight is already delayed half an hour… especially when it leaves you wondering if you will make your connection flight or not, which then causes you to wonder if you will get home that day or not. Well, right now I’m sitting in St. Louis hoping that my flight to Denver really isn’t late (or that the plane flies really extra fast) or that my flight from Denver to SLC is a little late as well. But what I really want is to just get back to my apartment sometime today. Buying a flight that lands less than 12 hours before my first class of the semester may not have been the smartest decision ever.  At least I’m taking the shuttle from SLC to Provo, so no matter when I end up in SLC I will have a ride and none of my friends will be inconvenienced.

Oh Marci, not that I think you're ungrateful or unhappy, but I thought of this YouTube video when I read this post:

I hope you made your way home in decent time and that you made it back on time for your new class!

Glad to hear from you today that in spite of delays you made it home--to a key that did not unlock your front door. I bet your roommates were thrilled to hear that doorbell ring, huh?

Joanne, that clip is HILARIOUS! It kind of puts things in perspective. I can really be more grateful for the wonders that I partake of!
