My Weekend... in a nutshell

This long weekend has been... kind of nice, kind of boring, kind of really relaxing. Overall I think it was great.

Thursday: Roommate 2 & 3 left

Friday:
-I went to both of my classes
-I had a meeting with my financial aid advisor
-I hung out with my old roommate, Kelli
-I did my stats homework
-I took a nap
-I watched tv
-I went to Divine Comedy
-I called mom a view times
-I talked to Paul
-I played a lot of Solitaire

Saturday:
-I helped set up for the big Housing Dance
-I got Jamba with Mindy & Allison
-I returned movies to the bookstore
-I rented movies from the bookstore
-I watched said movies
-I ate a frozen pizza thing made on french bread
-I roved
-I played solitaire
-I watched Win a Date With Tad Hamilton

Sunday:
-I went to church
-I had the coolest hall meeting planned but felt like I needed to change it during church... and wait til next week
-I had a hall meeting that was super low key
-The Queen of American showed up at my hall meeting, I felt dumb because it wasn't really much of a meeting
-I played in the lobby with The Queen of America's son
-I made dinner for Jacob and Braedon
-I ate dinner
-I went to ward prayer... where we got our assignments for Sacrament Meeting next week (our FHE group is in charge). One of the topics for the talks was the topic of the hall meeting I had planned, so I volunteered to give it. Now I just need to tweek the lesson plan so it isn't geared towards just girls.
-I watched Elizabethtown as I went to bed
-I couldn't fall asleep right away so I made lists of goals and such on my computer

Monday:
-I finished Elizabethtown since I fell asleep during it
-I took a shower
-I played Solitaire
-I went to Janelle's apartment
-I went to Brick Oven
-I went to Bed, Bath & Beyond and Kohls with Janelle
-I went to Janelle's FHE, on accident. She forgot about it. It was awkward.
-I came home and my roommates were all back
-I listened to Roommate 2's description of her mothers surprised look when she walked in the door
-I wrote this blog post

As you can see... I did not do homework. I did not study for tests. I did not clean my room. I did not do other cleaning. Overall, I'd say the weekend was a success if I wasn't aiming for getting much done. Not quite as successful as the last long weekend when we went to Mindy's grandparents house... that was a good weekend, but this one was pretty close.

Sounds like a "lazy bum" kind of weekend--and we all deserve those once in a while. How did your manicotti turn out? OK? What is your talk topic for Sunday? I bet you'll do a super job of it. Have a wonderful week! Mom

Haha, my manicotti was fine. :) we ate the whole pan, just the 3 of us. My talk is about Self Worth. It should be pretty sweet!
