a random compilation of my thoughts

I came to my blog because mom emailed me saying that she tried to comment on it but it didn't work. From there, I automatically logged in, hit "new post" and then sat for a few minutes trying to decide what there was to blog about. Then I realized that there is a lot I could blog about, but that I'm not going to, at least not yet.

I've decided that the mailman HATES me. Last Thursday the Central Building (seriously, a 1 minute walk) mailed me something and it still hasn't come yet. My next door neighbor was expecting the same piece of mail, but hers came on Saturday. Yes. The mailman hates me.

Also, my girls are doing so much better with their cleaning checks this month, I'm SO excited. The random thing though was that one of the apartments that is always pretty awesome with their cleaning had a lot to fix. That surprised me a bit, but oh well. It was just a bad day for them. Tonight I have my last two redos and then I'll be DONE til next month. YAY!

ALSO. I love my co-RAs. They are pretty much my favorites EVER. Yesterday I went to talk to Allison after RA class and we just sat on her bed talking, with the sun shining through the window. OH YEAH! IT'S SUNNY HERE. I pretty much love Allison to death. End of story.

Oreos. Why are oreos SO tasty? Every other week or so I decide "hmmm, what am I going to buy with my extra money?" and I almost always end up with a package of oreos. It reminds me of a lot of nights at Paul & Jeanne's house, eating oreos and milk in their family room while we watch tv or a movie. I come into my room with my mug of milk and my package of oreos and listen to my "songs that make me really happy" playlist on iTunes and eat away. It's amazing how quickly I can finish a package on my own. Probably unhealthy actually.

On that happy note about oreos, I think I'm going to go get out of my pajamas and get ready to head to class. And then I need to write my talk for Sunday and take a midterm.

I have a bad habit now of waiting til the last day to take midterms. It started one week because I had so many midterms and I needed to spread mine out. Now I just justify it by staying up late and thinking "well, I can't wake up early now to go to take it, I'll fall asleep at the testing center" and "well, I don't really have enough time between those classes, so I'll wait til later". Yesterday I should've studied for it more before RA class, but I took a 2 hour nap instead. But honestly, my nap was probably really good since I had 3 1/2 hours of cleaning checks last night.

Alright. Now I really will go get ready for my class.
