This Weekend, summed up

This weekend was probably the best weekend I've had this year, with the exception of the weekend I spent up in Draper and Mindy's grandparents house with Mind, Allison and Kelly. Why was this weekend so great? A lot of little things:

-Lunch with Tammy, Jess, Katie, Hays, Shauna (see post below) on Friday

-I did pretty darn well on my Stats test. Which made me really happy!

-Shopping on Friday with Kiley... I found jeans, a skirt, and a top that I REALLY liked.

-I watched a movie with Jacob & Braedon (FHE bros) Friday night- it was a Nicklodeon movie called Good Burger. It was hilarious

-After the movie with the boys, we went out to the lobby and talked until 1:30 when visiting hours left.

-Mindy was on duty so I hung out with her til 5:30 in the morning (read 3 posts below for all the details)

-I slept in until 1:30 Saturday (although I went to bed at 6:30, so it wasn't really sleeping in too late)

-Lesley did my hair and makeup and we took pictures (see 2 posts below, also see Facebook, there is a whole album)

-Cameron from my ward came over and we watched Zoolander. We've been talking about watching Zoolander together since, probably September or October. This time we picked a date, set a time and place and put reminders in our phones. It was hilarious. We both love the movie, so we both were laughing at the right parts, making funny faces at the right parts, and discussing little funny things about the movie.

-As soon as Cameron left I went to bed, so I kind of got some sleep last night.

-Since it was the 5th Sunday of the month, Priesthood and Relief Society were combined. Best part of this meeting was that Brad Wilcox (the amazing EFY speaker, book writer, etc.) was the teacher. He's in my Stake Presidency so we get to hear him often, but he taught us about Temples and it was REALLY cool! I'm sad to not be in his stake again next year, it's been so great to hear him speak so much in the last 2 years. He's always the main speaker at Stake Conference and Firesides because he's so amazing (well, minus this stake conference when Elder Hafen came. But still, President Wilcox was the main guy from the Stake Presidency that spoke)

-As it was Fast Sunday, our ward had a ward Break the Fast. We did a big Pancake Party. It was so amazing! I've never seen so many pancakes eaten so quickly before in my life.

And still to come tonight:

-My hall meeting, which is going to be the last one that most of the hall will come to. Next week is General Confernce so I won't be here, and teh week after is Easter, so a lot of my girls won't be here. This is it. Oh the Places You'll Go by Dr. Seuss, and a revisit of our Hall Theme- You Are Loved by Josh Groban. Maybe we'll even talk about some of our favorite memories from the year, things we've learned, etc. It should be good.

-A ward fireside. In case our activity and church today wasn't enough, we're getting together for a Fireside. I'm not sure who the guy is that is speaking, but whatevs, it should be good. Also, I found out that since we're having the Fireside, we're not having Ward Prayer.

-It's the last Sunday of the month, so my Home Teachers and Visiting Teachers are coming. Home Teachers scheduled this a month ago, Visiting Teachers were supposed to come one night last week but they never showed up.

Then, when I wake up tomorrow... I get to go to one of my favorite classes, Family Finance. My friend, Aislynn, that is in the class with me got engaged this weekend so I get to hear the story, I'm so excited. And at night, Janyse and her family are going to be here! I'm so excited!

And this my friend... is why I've blogged a lot this weekend. It's been fabulous!
